Since July, the visitors can see the inside of the church of Ménestérol. A gate was installed after the porch of entrance; although restricting acces, she allows to admire this nice very sober church but also the organ put in the chorus.

So the visitor want to see it in all his splendour and especially to hear it without the assistance of an organist; he only has to put a coin in a contactor and the chorus lights up.

After somme seconds necessary for the swelling of bellows, the organ starts to play all alone on the "Organo Pleno". A Robot in contact with the contactor was installed on the keyboard of the "Great", the stops are beforehand drawn and the listener can hear up to 10 improvisations of Francis Chapelet, it is enough for it to delay a other coin  in the contactor.

This robot was conceived and accomplished by Francesco Severio Colamarino, italian organist, electronics engineer and computer scientist. [Holder of organ of  S.Maria degli Angeli and  of San Giovanni Battista in Rom ]

It was necessary to allow to see the inside of the church but also to show and to give hear this wonderfull instrument.

The church is opened in principle every day of mid-june in mid-september of 10 am to 6pm.
